Toys 4 Kids

Professional Firefighters of Sonoma County Local 1401 has conducted a toy collection to benefit children in need within the Santa Rosa/Larkfield/Bellevue area for over 30 years.

This special program has been a collaborative effort that began with SRFD and expanded to include SCFD. It is operated through the generous donations of our community, businesses and local agencies.

Traditionally beginning on Black Friday, we collect toys and monetary donations at any one of our stations. It affords an opportunity to reach out and provide those less fortunate children in our communities with a new toy during the Holiday Season.

To expand our reach and help with logistics, we have worked in conjunction with the Center for Volunteer Nonprofit Leadership of Sonoma County (CVNL) by providing toys to fulfill wishes through their Giving Tree Program, the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Rosa, and many more organizations.
