Firefighters Unite to Support Los Angeles Wildfire Victims
Cooperage Brewing Company Hosts Fundraiser for Those Affected by the Eaton and Palisades Fires
The Eaton and Palisades Fires left a devastating mark on Los Angeles County, scorching tens of thousands of acres, destroying homes, and displacing countless families. These fires burned through communities with high winds, dry vegetation, and extreme fire behavior, making containment efforts incredibly challenging for firefighters across the state.
In response to the destruction, Santa Rosa and Sonoma County Firefighters are stepping up to help by hosting a Fire Relief Fundraiser at Cooperage Brewing Company (Airway Ct. location) on Saturday, March 1, from 5 to 9 p.m.
The Palisades Fire, near Pacific Palisades, and the Eaton Fire, in the San Gabriel Valley, consumed thousands of homes and displaced entire neighborhoods. The conditions mirrored what Sonoma County residents experienced during past wildfires like the Kincade, Tubbs, and Glass Fires, where dry fuels, erratic winds, and relentless fire behavior led to widespread devastation.
A few of our Firefighters were approached by members of the local band Dry Creek Station who were interested in volunteering their time to collaborate with Professional Firefighters of Sonoma County L1401 to organize a community event to support wildfire relief efforts. Together, they partnered with Cooperage Brewing Company to bring this event to life.
This fundraiser is being spearheaded by your Local 1401 Firefighters, some who recently spent time in Southern California battling the Palisades & Eaton Fires and witnessed the destruction firsthand.
“Our community knows firsthand the devastating impact of wildfires!” “We’ve seen neighborhoods destroyed, lives upended, and communities forever changed. We just want to do our part to help, because we know how much it means when others show up for you in those difficult moments.”
How You Can Help:

The Eaton and Palisades Fires left thousands in need, and we are committed to making a difference. This event is an opportunity to stand together in support of communities who have endured the same devastation that Northern California has faced in recent years.
Join us on March 1 at Cooperage Brewing Company to show your support and make a meaningful impact.
Donations will be split between the two main areas affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. For the Eaton Fire we will be supporting the Pasadena Community Foundation-Eaton Fire Relief & Recovery Fund. For the Palisades Fire we will be working through the Pacific Palisades Community Council on determining the most immediate needs to support!
